The most common surgical problem is nausea. According to pharmacological path there are some prevent and treatment but which had side effect like headaches, drowsiness and confusion. In this article, they analyze the side effect of aromatherapy with 10% and 30% peppermints essential oils on the hardness of Nausea in abdominal surgery patient.
In comparison to other oil, peppermint essential oil has a mild side effect where it closes the serotonin and dopamine receptor in nausea along with it consumed through the lungs, nasotracheal mucosa, and bloodstream.

Demographic information form include consist of component age, sex, type of surgery, length of time in the recovery room, and duration of anesthesia.

Made three groups

Controls
Same method as 10% peppermint essential group but 2cc distilled water colored with green food coloring was used as placebo also distance was more than two meters.
10% of peppermint group
0.2ml equivalent of two drop of 10% peppermint essential oil was added to 2cc distilled water and poured onto 4*4 gauze put 10cm away from patient's nose for five minutes.
