Causes
Imperialism
Imperialism was a cause because building an empire needs manpower such as an army and a navy to conquer and keep the land that they colonized. The alliance order signified that a local opposition could simply occur in an intimidating global one.
Forming of Alliances
Overall, if nations hold a great army, sufficient supplies, and a large navy, they would be able to battle. Alliances presented a great dent in World War 1. Each nation was massively loaded and each one had reasons for suspecting every other’s nation in Europe. Its attitude towards this settlement became recognized as a ‘splendid retreat’ as it concentrated toward its large overseas territories.
Aggressive nationalism
Nationalism was a large reason for World War 1 because of countries doing selfish and not settling. Nationalism tells you are proud of your nation and require it to be the most loyal. A lot of reasons all connected back to nations all desired to be greater than each other. The value of Nationalism provided nations fake faith and aggression to succeed in the battle. Even if they weren’t capable to overcome a fight due to their power and knowledge of plans and leaders. As you can see, Nationalism had caused a huge impression on Countries’ knowledge and power of fighting, also how various nations desired area to support their plan succeed in overcoming the war.
Militarism
Nations started showing they had the greatest weapons including armies because other nations seemed unsafe. Militarism could have made the conflict due to the marine and arms race. The chief event of Militarism making World War one was the marine battle which was made after 1900.
