Before beginning to write, ask yourself a question such as
:
What is the purpose of the article and what do potential readers already know about this topic?
INTRODUCTION
Achieve credibility vis-a-vis the reader
summarize the readers important development of the topic by including a brief survey of the literature
will highlight the knowledge and interest of the writer
Signal early what problem you want to solve
showing that previous articles have not resolved the problem and provides an opportunity to fill a gap
Announce the technique that will be applied to solve the problem
