        Differentiate curriculum for students who are ready for more. This can include having them assist (if their temperaments are well adapted) other students with work, sending home differentiated homework, offering extension work in class and at centers to provide additional challenge.
        
        Struggling students
        
        Bring situation to the staff group to get insights on possible in class differentiation or thoughts of an assessment recommendation
        
        If professional group agrees with the need for assessment, bring to parents in a private meeting. Ask questions about home and if the parents have any information, background, observations, concerns.
        
        Schedule at school assessment through classroom observation and potentially one on one engagement with learning specialist. Provide assessment results to parents and director.
        
        Based on the initial assessment, recommend either specific differentiation within the classroom or further assessment from Tri Counties.
        
        Further assessment recommended
        
        Refer families to to Tri Counties. As Tri Counties provides their results directly to the parents, check in with parents on the scheduling and results of assessment.
