Biotic Elements: The biotic element of the ecosystem is anything that is living and any interactions between the living components. That includes all the organisms (plants and animals), anything that they consume or that consumes them and human influences

Parasitism: Parasitism is when an organism (the parasite) takes nutrients from another organism (the host).
Predation: Predation is where one organism (the predator) hunts and kills another (the prey) in order to provide it with the energy for survival and reproduction.
Species: Species is a group of organisms with common characteristics that can interbreed to produce fertile offspring
Niche: A niche refers to the way in which an organism fits into an ecological community or ecosystem.
Population: A population is a group of individuals of the same species living in the same area at the same time.
Habitat: A habitat is a place where an organism makes its home. A habitat meets all the environmental conditions an organism needs to survive.
