STRUCTURES, FORCES, LOAD AND STRESS
STRESS
Definition: stress is the internal tension wich all bodies experience when one or more forces are applied to them.
TYPES OS STRESS
-
Shearing or cutting
This force divide something. (This forces act very near each other, but not opposing)
-
Compression

FIXED OR PERMANENT LOADS

VARIABLE LOADS
They vary over time
