SALARY
MINIMUMS
Year 1 - AA, DB, FL: $60K
AA increases by $9K
DB & FL Increase by $19K
Year 2 - Add $1200 to mins (~2% cost of living)
Year 3 - add $1200 to each min (~2% cost of living)
ANTI-LEAP-FROGGING RAISE
Current Lecturers receive same increase as the minimums on their respective campus
ANNUAL INCREASES
Year 1 - 3%
Year 2 - 4%
Year 3 - 5%
Tied to TT raises with 3% / 4% / 5% floor
LONGEVITY
1.5% added to Full Time Rate starting in year 12 (in addition to annual increases)
LEAP-FROGGING
Leapfrogging cases are resolved by raising the lecturers pay by $1500 above the new hire minimum

Childcare Subsidy
$2940/child/semester prorated by Full Time Equivalent (same as GEO)

If Lec's school district is remote: for children up to 13 yrs old (or 18 yrs old for children w/ disabilities
Benefits for Lec while on layoff if they have recalls right
Expanding extended sick pay to 1 year at full salary & 1 year at half salary
Lec can't lose benefits while applying for or appealing Long Term Disability
Remove 50% effort requirement for benefits bridge over the summer. (someone unpaid who had benefits will be eligible)
Remove 50% effort requirement for LI's to get retirement match after 2 years
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
TEACHING PROFESSOR
Assistant Teaching Professor at unit's discretion (w/ consistent criteria)
Associate Teaching Professor after 2nd Major Review
Teaching Professor after any Continuing Review
Collegiate Lecturers get Collegiate Teaching Professor regardless of reviews
DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION
JOB SECURITY
Genuine effort to find Lecturer other work
Special Conference when Unit is thinking of a layoff
Collaborate to find other types of work
Prioritized for classes in other units if the Lec is qualified
"Home" Unit would pay half of the salary
Year's pay for laying off LII/LIV because of discontinuance of program
Extend Recall rights by 1 year (from 1 to 2 & 2 to 3)
GOVERNANCE
Lecturers with at least 50% Appointments & 2 semesters of employment shall have voting rights on the unit level

Centrally administered travel fund for Internat'l Lecs (for moving to US, visa-required travel)
