Untimed assignments/tests and frequent breaks

Accommodated places in a classroom (a place to go and do some movements, in front of the board, a quitter place, further away from the light source, place to calm down, etc.)

Modified homework and class work (difficulty level, symbols decoding, alternative format of an assignment)

Breaking information into smaller chunks for a student to comprehend

Project-based tasks and usage of manipulatives (students can use their tactile skills to find a solution, to grasp a process, etc.)

 Constant timely feedback (that outlines both success and specific point for improvement)

Providing a range of media resources (books, videos, audio, magazines, interviews, guest-speakers, etc.

Classroom visual materials that help to decode symbols and characters are available for student’s usage)

Establishing classroom rules and routines (it is important to follow similar routine in a class for some students)

Visually monitoring students (teacher should be always able to view all the students)
