Financial constraints
How much money the producers can afford to spend on the product.
May mean some resources cannot be used for the project such as venues, camera work or certain staff that are too expensive.
Revenue streams
A source of finance for producers to use when creating their product..
Decided how high the budget will be for the project and quality of production will differ with amount of revenue streams recieved.
Impact of ethical issues
An ethical issue is something that is seen as morally incorrect by society.
Can impact what can or cant not be put into a media product as it may cause an argument and legal difficulties.
Impact of regularity bodies
A regularity body decide on the constraints of the product and who can/cannot view it.
Media producers may want to make their product acceptable to a wider range of people so more people view it.
Impact of legal issues
Legal issues are issues that are illegal and therefore can not be done when creating a product.
Means producers will not be able to use certain things such as copyrighted music or personal information for example.
Time constraints
The time producers have to complete certain aspects of their product/the product as a whole.
Means producers will have to complete parts of their project in time, for example, filming will have to be finished in time for editing.
Personnel involved
The team of people needed to produce the product.
Producers will need to acquire people with different skill sets for each part for the production. For example, cameramen for filming and video editors for editing a film.
Relevant facilities
The facilities/venues needed to produce the media product.
Producers may need access to certain places for certain aspects of the product. For example, may need a studio for filming.
