1st stage
Luke is just a simple farm boy who lives with his uncle and helps him with the farm. 
3rd stage
In this stage, Luke starts to feel afraid that he is no enough to complete the journey presented to him.
2nd stage
After receiving a message from princess Leia, Luke decides to help and looks for Obi-wan.
4th stage
This stage is where Luke gets a mentor (Obi-wan) that guides him through the ways of the force.
5th stage
After finding out that his uncle and aunt were dead, he fully understands his faith and is ready to begin the journey.
6th stage
Here is where Luke makes allies to accompany him in this journey.
7th stage
Luke enters a situation of danger he has never been before and manages to rescue princess Leia from the first death star
8th stage
This is where Obi-wan sacrifices himself to save Luke from Darth Vader, Luke has lost his mentor.
9th stage
After struggling for the death of his mentor he starts to become stronger, now with the confidence to defeat the empire.
10th stage
Here is where Luke is presented with the opportunity to go back home with Han, while intrigued, he decides to stay and fight the empire.
11th stage
Here is where the charge of saving others is on his shoulders, as he is confronting the death star with Darth Vader keeping him on edge, but he remains successful with the help of Han and Chewbacca and destroy the death star.
12th stage
Here, Luke is now a completely different person as he is more courageous than he ever was before, after saving the day, he receives a medal of courage, representing his.
The heroes journey is where the main character is presented with obstacles of different magnitudes and challenging him, mentally and physically. Knowing this can help me know how to write a character in a story better and make them more interesting.
