(pages 179-180)
Point: purpose is to reflect upon the opression that women faced during the Victorian era
ethos

Sense of empathy towards the children who had no responsibly
line 32-33
Links to GI because Nora feels responsible for corrupting her own children and decides early one to stay away while the children are not responsible
Rhetorical question

Sense of suspense in the reader as they are afraid of what will unfold knowing that Nora is lying to her husband
Afraid that she has morally affected her children

Links to GI because Nora feels responsible for corrupting her own children
Tone:
Ominous
Being in act 1 Nora is still accepting of Victorian ideologies
Sense of empathy in the reader since Nora is confined to these ideologies
Alludes to Nora's realization of the effect of the lie; complies with gender stereotyping

Serene
Husband and Wife: Helmer treated Nora like a child
lines 1-18
Sense of empathy for Nora as she has no freedom to think/ treated as a property in the way he objectifies her

BOW
Nurse and her daughter
Act 2 we learn that she left her daughter to take care of Nora when she was young and her children
Struggle for money among social workers
Sense of empathy
This exemplifies my global issue because she left her daughter to financially support her
Ms. Linde and Krogstad beginning of act 3
Sacrifice her love with Krogstad for rich man
Mother died and needed financial support for brothers
Audience respect Ms Linde as she is selfless
This exemplifies my global issue because she left him for a richer man out of responsibly rather than will
Torvald
Position in the bank
Nora felt like she can exploit her wealth
Torvald keeps telling her to save money and limits her income
Audience are flabbergasted
This links to the GI since Torvald is responsible to keep Nora from overspending

Purpose: Originally intended to be a love story turned and inspired for Cameron's love for shipwrecks

Links to GI since Rose is responsible to listen to he mother, at least morally
Shows facial expressions
Tone
Definitive tone
Sense of tantrum as she is held against her will
Links to GI since she is forced to marry a man she does not love
Ironic since that is men's role during the Victorian era
Rose is responsible to keep her mother wealthy
Frames A-E
Rhetorical questions
Show's Rose's obedience
Sense of tantrum as she is held against her will

Sense of reliability among the male demographic
Link: Due to that beauty defines a women and this beauty is seen in most cultures as a responsibly.
Women's responsibility is to be flattering both physical and mentally
When the shipwrecked women were responsible to save the children
Women had to leave their spouses to survive with their children
Empathy for children who would grow up without a father
Link: Due to the notion that women are better caretakers the men couldn't survive
Hockley gave Rose the Heart of the Sea
Audience is bewildered by the extent of his affection towards her when in fact it may not have affected his budget being one of the richest on the ship
Links to global issue it is easier for men to be responsible if they can afford it
In order to impress her with his wealth
TOK: Hume's theory of causation
Causation is a relation between objects that we employ in our reasoning in order to yield less than demonstrative knowledge of the world beyond our immediate impressions.
Claim: Gender stereotyping affects social responsibility
Therefore, both Gender stereotyping and social responsibly are constantly conjoined

Sexism
More specifically it will focus on the classification of social responsibility through gender stereotyping
