Alt FAFSA Process, Scholars of Promise Processes - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Students that are taking classes for fall semesters need to have there alt FAFSA complete prior to PRD (Pell Recalculation Date)
      - Note: once student are accepted into the program they are not required to meet the EFC requirements to receive SoP tuition assistance

        Deadline to complete alt FAFSA
        
        If, alt FAFSA is complete and students have met all the requirements they will be accepted into the program and their tuition eligible to be covered if they enroll FT 12+ credits
- - - - Students of color are paired with a Madison College staff, faculty or community mentor.
        
        Students are empowered by a success coach as they engage in a supportive learning community.
        
        3 SCMP cohorts to choose from:
        
        General- all students of color welcome
        
        Nursing – students of color in Nursing AD, PN, CNA
        
        Criminal Justice -- students of color in CJ
