        My Question: If we had a war like this today, would it cost as much as this or more?

      - Concept: Consequence This is consequence because the war caused economies to get drained, million lives were killed, and it destroyed farmland, homes, villages, and towns.

        My Question: Was art something that helped people cope with the tragedies of the war?
      - Q: Why might Westerners have experienced disillusionment in the wake of World War I?
        A: Despair at the tremendous loss of life and economic devastation and the uselessness of all the suffering.

        By seizing the Dardanelles, the Allies planned to reach Constantinople, allowing them access to establish supply lines through Russia

        By December, the Allies had surrendered and began to evacuate

        The Allies wanted to provide and ensure Russia had enough resources to part take in the war because they would need their help. With their assistance, they could close in on Germany

        How did the Zimmerman Note draw America into the war?
        
        The Zimmerman note had angered America who had stayed neutral for the majority of the war. It posed as a threat to their dominance, as they felt threatened of Germany agreeing to help take land that had belonged to them
        
        Consequence: Because the Germans had attacked American ships and threatened to try and assist Mexico and taking their land, America entered the war against them

        The Allies strategized for the attacl on the Ottoman Empire - The Dardanelles
        
        By taking this the Allies believe they can get Constantinople, beat the Turks and most importantly establish a supply line to Russia.
        
        Why did the Allies want to establish a supply line to Russia?
        
        Their reasoning behind this was mainly to support their Ally. Russia had very low resources, when it came to war and also in towns. Without a supply line to Russia, the country would have failed.

        The Germans intensified the war, they announced that they would sink their subs without anyone knowing
        
        An attack on the ship, Lusitania, through the US over the edge and fired many people up. It was a factor in the states to join the war.
        
        After agreeing to neatralize, Germany sent another attackon the US that brought them even closer to war.
        
        How did the Zimmerman Note draw America into the war?
        
        This note shoed that Germany was against America in the effort of helping mexico regain lost territory to the US. After the submarine incidents if finally pulled America into the war.
