Function of Law?
no one dies of unnatrual causes - murder - families can also get the justice they deserve and are able to move on
to outline laws for everyone to abide by
we can have a structure to our lives and create some order
to resolve issues that occur in the legal system that need resolving
everyone is equal - people arent favoured due to status or money
when something goes wrong in some ones life they can look to law to correct it or prove they are right - when you are fired for no reason you can look to law to correct that

Law ensure society's belief, behaviours that are acceptable and unacceptable and social norms to have a equal legal system.
the law makes the world a better place by protecting humanity and ensuring people feel safe in their own community, it also makes everyone feel worthy of existence

Having a law stops a higher rate and increase of criminal activity.
