Stabilize electrolytes, coagulation, and hematocrit

Risk for hemorrhage, infection, renal issues

Check character and quality of their pulses, compare to pre-op
Monitor for signs of rupture pallor, weakness, tachycardia, and HTN

True Vs. False Aneurysm

False aneurysms rupture in the vessel causing it to bleed in the area around it then develop a clot.

Etiology/ Pathology
Dilated aortic wall becomes lined with thrombi that can embolize; which can lead to acute ischemic symptoms in distal branches.
