One example of Bioremediation is the use of it to clean up oil spills. in this situation it is preferred to use Bioremediation because of its effectiveness.
Cons
One con of using Bioremediation is that the microbes are not controlled so there is a possibility that the organism is not fully broken down.

We don't know enough yet aboutGenetic engineering to avoid unpredictable consequences. THis can make it dangerous and result in us creating something harmful.
It could cause countries to create super soldiers that would be unstopable. This would not be good and could eventually cause that country to take over the world.

Pros
One good outcome of using biomass energy is that it is renewable energy. This makes it a energy source we will have forever because it is infinite.
Another pro of biomass energy is that it helps reduce the use of fossil fuels. This in turn reduces the amount of pollution in the atmosphere and helps twardsfixing climate change..

Biomass energy is trying to be integrated into use for fueling transportation. This includes diesel, gasoline and jet fuel.
Cons
Another con of biomass energy is it leads to major deforestation. Biomass energy relies on burning things like wood chips which relies on trees which can cause major forests to be cut down just for fuel.
One negative thing that comes out of using biomass energy is the emissions. It In addition to CO2, burning biomass fuels results in the release of various other harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, NOx and VOCs.
