After Treaty of Hudayibia. The Malice of The Jews increases. The Treaty led them to think that the Muslims were weak.
He set out with believers from Madinah in the month of Muharram 7 A.H and reached Khaybar in 3 days.
Therefore they got in touch with all those who agreed with them to help them in their fight against Muslims asking them to prepare to march to Madinah

There were several fortified quarters and
six big forts in Khyber.
Qumas was the strongest fort whose ruler was the All warrior of Arab, Marhab.He was considered the strongest as 1,000 horsemen.
There were force of at least 20,000 Jews in the forts. First battle took place at the fort named Naim and the forts was conquered.
Muslims captured other small fortresses and without difficulty reached the strongest fort, Qumas.
It was difficult for Muslims to conquer. this fort and the battle prolonged for 20 days
Each day they would return without
success.

They requested Holy Prophet to grant them peace on conditions that they would leave half their land in Muslims hands.
Holy Prophet mercifully accepted and their lives, women and children were left untouched. Muslims got all their treasure
