Present perfect continuous
s+have/has+been+ing
He has been playing in that band for many years.
I am annoyed because I have been waiting to get served for ages.
USE: something that happened in the past and it's still happening in the present; something that happened recently and has a result in the present; something that happened repeatedly in the past and may continue to happen now and in the future

present perfect
s+have/has+past participle
She has lived in that house all her life.
I have seen that movie before.
past perfect continuous
had + been + verb ( -ing)
I had been working on this project for three hours.
use: for sth that started in the past and continued up until a certain time in the past
past continous
when the phone rang, she was writing a letter

was or were + verb + ing
We were talking before the exam.
future perfect cont.
will+have+been+Ving
Will you have been working when I arrive?
Use:actions that will continue up until a point in the future
[Present perfect continuous
"to be" (will have been) + the present participle of the main verb (base + ing)
She has been waiting for 2 hours.
this form is used to project ourselves forward in time and to look back.

When I come at 6:00, will you have been practicing long?
