5 Students Who Answered Most of the Questions Correctly
PBL: Help the World Understand What's Real
This group would work on a PBL while the others are in the "Normal" classes
Review several social media posts/arguments. Use a variety of sources to verify/discredit those posts. Build a list of reputable sources with justifications. Come up with some "tips/tricks" for evaluating sources.
Students will turn in an outline to me that includes copies of the Tips/Tricks list and their verified sources list. They will then present their finds to the class and make copies of their handouts for all to use.

These students are most likely to have trouble with vocabulary, and so when differentiating for them, I must have vocabulary lists to match their text.
Definitions in their first language will be useful for ELL learners. Both groups will benefit from adding visuals
Varying the level of the text
If others are assessing websites using college-level vocabulary, this group would be better served from assessing a site that's more their speed. There are several websites that generate news articles for children/ELL learners.
Exit Tickets for Quoting, Paraphrasing, Citing
Whereas students in the second group might have to use a quote from their text correctly in order to get out of the class, students in these groups might only have to choose the correct citation from a list.
