Step 1: Identify the IEP students

Step 2: Communicate with admin and parents(referral)

Observe the behaviors

Determine developmental delays in the age group

Refer RTI, or certified resources to determine if students meets the standards.

Share the documented observations

Prove and explain how standards from certified resources like RTI indicates this students' behavior.

document child's difficulties and challenges

Test the regular class management skills and accommodations to see if it is able to be handled

Monitor student's progress

Provide evidences of visible indications of a disability

Compare students ' behavior from home and classroom

Step 3: Implementing IEP

Teachers who can provide individualized support should be assiged for each student

Student will receive a special accommodations and the array of multidisciplinary services

Give alternative assessment procedures

Set differentiated classroom expectations at their standards

Step 4: Evaluation

Hold a periodical IEP Review meeting,

Assess whether the student is meeting their goals and making educational progress

Teachers should record daily data and weekly reports about the students

Share this information with the admin and the parents.

Make further plan to help the student to learn better
