Islam
The Quran is the Holy book of Islam.
They originated in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Their main beliefs are the Five Pillars of Faith,
Some major holidays are, Ramadan, Eid- al Fitr, Eid- al Adha, and al- Hijra.
Their founder was Muhammad, and they worship Allah.
Buddhism
The sacred text is the Tripitaka.
It is the fourth largest religion in the world.
Buddhists don't believe in a god, but enlightenment.
Their basic beliefs are, the Four Noble Truths, Nirvana, and reincarnation.
They are found in India, China, and Japan.
Hinduism
Hinduism was founded in India.
The sacred text is the Vedas.
They believe in Karma and Reincarnation and the caste system.
Their diet is mostly vegetarian because they believe that all creatures have a soul.
They mostly worship two goddesses.
Shintoism
Shintoism is unique to Japan.
There are two sacred texts. The Kojiki, and the Nihon- Gi.
They have no rules for moral living, and they do not have a concept of a single god.
They believe in multiple spirits called Kami.
Believe that physical purity than moral purity.
Confucianism
Confucianism is not a religion, it is a philosophy.
The Analects are the sacred texts of Confucianism.
The philosophy originated in China.
They believe in the Five Basic Relationships and the Golden Rule of behavior.
Confucius was a teacher and not a god.
