Tenses
Modal verbs
Must, should, can
Must, shall, will, might
can, could, may, might, must, ought to, shall, should, will, would,need :

first, they can be used when we want to say how sure we are that something happened / is happening / will happen. We often call these modals of deduction or speculation or certaint or 'probability
It's snowing so it must be very cold outside.
Present Tenses
present simple
we use the base form of the verb but the third person gets an-s at the end.
eg. I watch movies every friday.
She watches movies every friday.
we use it with every day, often, usually, always....
Present continuous :
present simple,present continuous
Eg. Jonh is playing football.
I go to school every day-present simple
I am going to school..-present continuous
am, is, are + verb + ing
I am eating pizza
Present simple
I play video games every day
the verb is in base form,in third person singular we add (s).Example-She works in Spain
Present Continuous
form of the verb to be+ing on the main verb
Im doing my homework.
We use to show that an action is haopening now
Past Tenses
past simple,past continuous
had+been+past participle
Past Perfect Continuous
He made a cake yesterday
past perfect
Had + past participle(3rd column)
She has left before I arrived.
The past perfect refers to a time earlier than before now. It is used to make it clear that one event happened before another in the past. It does not matter which event is mentioned first - the tense makes it clear which one happened first.
was/were +s +verb with ed if its a regular verd if its a irregular use the past perfect of the verb {past simple}
Future Tenses
future simple,future be going to
will
Future continuous
will + be + V+ ing :
I will be studying tonight.
future simple we use when there is no plan to do something before we speak
I had been working
He had been jogging
