Word Equation

Chemical Equation

H20 + Sunlight + C02 = C6H12O6

Word Equation

Water + Sunlight + Carbon Dioxide = Glucose

Oxygen + Glucose ---> Heat + water + carbon dioxide

Chemical Equation

O2 + C6H12O6 ---> energy + H2O + CO2

Skin Cells

Muscle Cells

Blood Cells

Nerve Cells

Bone Cells

Nerve Cells have long stems too make it easier to communicate with other cells.

Muscle Cells are cylindrical to allow for easier movement.

Skin Cells are flat to allow for easier overlap of each other. This overlapping can cause thick skin.

Blood Cells are small so they can travel fast.

Bone Cells have the long stems on them so they can exchange nutrients with other bone cells easily.

Osmosis

Diffusion

Diffusion is the movement of particles from a higher place of concentration to a lower place.

Osmosis occurs with water on semi-permeable membranes so there is an equal number water on both sides.
