Learning Theory
Connectivism
(shows us that having an internet really makes learning easier and fun)
this learning method also teaches the students to connect to the network to share and find new information everyday
through this learning process we are able to gain knowledge of the internet and used them in our ways of learning
This theory creates new opportunity for the students to expose themselves with this method
Eg. students can learn in what they are
interested in
Behaviorism ( learning based on the idea that all
behaviors are acquired through conditioning.)
behavior is simply a response to environmental
stimuli
It can also be studied in a systematic and observable manner.
It is sometimes easier to quantify and
collect data when conducting research.
Eg. Students are able to leave class early when they are able to finish the activity given
Cognitivism (focus on the ability of students to guide their own learning using mental strategies)
the power of mind as a processor
The way people think impacts their behavior and therefore cannot be a behavior in and of itself.
Track back the use of quality teaching in their practices
Eg. doing some revision in order to
remembrance what we have learn.
Constructivism (learning that holds that people actively construct or by making their own knowledge
more memorable by the student if they interact and solve the problem that they are facing.
it is also an active process where the students needs to engage in the world so they are actively involve in their own learning and progress.
Students can make their own strategies to interact by learning them from experience
Eg. learning the chronology of dates for a series of historical events, at the same time they are learning the meaning of chronology.
