Industrial Development in the United States
Began with the textile revolution, that reffered to cotton, wool
USA accquired the same resources Britain and Europe have to fasten industries.
British worker Samuel Slader moved to USA to learn about the ways that this country used.
America had an advantage of rivers with resources such as coal and iron which helped farm workers and immigrants.
Manufactures
During the 1820´s Lowell manufacturing became one of the biggest companies in the world.
They began to hire many women as mills employees.
This employeed girls were closely vigilaized to ensure the work was made in a proper way.
Textile manufacturing was the leadar, however shoemaking and underwent also potenzialise.
USA remained agricultural until the civil war ended in 1865.
Railroads and corporations
The railroad system during 1840´s was very vague and didnt pass through every place in the US.
By the end of the 1800´s the railroad was fully developed expanding to many places in USA
Many companies formed thanks to the joining of many smaller ones.
Corporations were large businesses which built big things such as railroads
These needed a lot of money to develop
These were potentialized by stockowners who invested in industrial equipment.
An example of corporations are: Standard Oils, Carneige Steel and many others.
Industrialization of continental Europe, Belgium and Germany
The british miracle was the main event that industrialization brought, this also had its own way in France.
Belgium and Germany also had its own appropiation of the industrialization
Many economical and social issues arised due to industrialization.
Unenployement, social inequality and hunger were one of the many consequences society had to face due to its industrial changes
