Outdoor Education Coach / Garfield County Outdoors Program Director ("Hub Coordinator")
Leverage local partnerships in community to support Re-2 outdoor ed programming and service-learning with partners such as the US Forest Service, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, ACES, RFOV, and the Buddy Program
Locate, apply to, and manage grant and other funding opportunities to ensure sustainability of outdoor education program in Re-2
Share successes and tell story of GCO outdoor ed through social media
Build relationships with local partners to help overcome barriers to participation such as reduced prices/discounts to lift tickets, access to gear, etc.
Seek funding for outdoor capital projects to support outdoor education efforts. For example, school gardens, archery ranges, outdoor climbing walls, Bike park, frisbee golf, and zen gardens.

Grant Reporting
Manage relationship with GOCO & Generation Wild
Oversees and supports all Outdoor Education efforts within the District. Coordinates in-school programs with program delivery partners. Manages outdoor ed field trip funds. Manages gear library. Supports re-2 outdoor based clubs and provides outdoor ed professional development opportunities for Re-2 Staff.

Transportation Support through easier access to vehicles as well as funds to support travel for clubs.

Develop a "field trip" menu for schools to utilize in planning.

Locate, coordinate, and schedule outdoor-based field trips as well as support school personnel in developing outdoor field trips
Provide support to school personnel in seeking and scheduling outdoor programs
Gear and Resource Library
- Procure gear to build gear library to provide a resource to district personnel to be used in outdoor ed programming.
