I believe the reason religion is one of the biggest lists here is because if you narrow down a huge majority of different religions it all boils down to what could happen where you die and what will happen to you from that point onwards, this is important as we have no idea what actually happens so they all have their own different interpretations on the matter.
Fantasy has a connection with rebirth as it shows loads of the supernatural that is connected to rebirth which can be things like ghosts as it is a spirit of something that was once alive but has been reborn.
Here is a few games that I know that include rebirth in multiple ways, one example is the fallout series when the nuclear bomb goes off and destroys the world they had, after the bomb hits it rebirths the earth. This of course causes everything to change in a matter of seconds and continues to change and be manipulated for time to come due to the radiation in the bombs.
All sorts of plants will regrow and a great example would be a tree split in half by a lightning bolt and over time the tree will grow in-between the split tree however it would take a while.
In all of these books they talk about or include suggestions on the thought of rebirth, A good example of this would be from the Percy Jackson books. One bit I will point to in particular would be the part when Nico came to find Bianca his sister so that he can bring her soul out of the underworld and rebirth her.
Although this sounds odd to add but it makes sense hearing it from this perspective, when something like a catastrophe like this it destroys what ever is in its area of reach which will regrow/rebirth the land around it.
Tv shows would be the way most people would envision rebirth down to the fact that television is one of the biggest forms of media. Therefore it was able to give me loads of examples, One example I would use The walking dead as it started with a zombie virus which mysteriously broke out and infected people which is giving birth to a new species coming from something that was once something else.
Although this sounds odd where this could be a potential area for rebirth I will be demonstrating it in a different way, for example I would be taking into consideration that both world war 1 and world war 2 and rebirth happens when we have all of the destroyed countries after the war and them being rebuilt and also the nature around these areas too especially in the no mans land, the plants and other parts of nature were able to grow back
