Wind turbines emit low frequency noise, which can enter the home with little or no reduction in energy

Progress :!?:
-
At third quarter of 2017, U.S. has an installed wind capacity of 84,944 MW
over 29,634 MW of wind currently under construction or in advanced development
-
-
Background / History
As early as 5,000 BC, people used wind energy to propel boats along the Nile River.
By 200 BC
In Persia and the Middle East, windmills with woven-reed blades were grinding grain.
-
In China, simple wind-powered water pumps were used,

The inventor of wind turbine
Fausta Veranzio
Wind Turbine
The first electricity-generating wind turbine was a battery charging machine installed in July 1887 by Scottish academic James Blyth :
In 1888, It was invented in Cleveland, Ohio by Charles F. Brush.
In Denmark by 1900, there were about 2500 windmills for mechanical loads such as pumps and mills, producing an estimated combined peak power of about 30 MW.
Three years later, Poul la Cour starts the Society of Wind Electricians.
Then, over a hundred years wind turbines have developed radically until now.

2 Types of Wind Turbine

Horizontal Axis
-

Vertical Axis
Drag-based, or Savonius, turbines generally have rotors with solid vanes that rotate about a vertical axis
Lift-based, or Darrieus, turbines have a tall, vertical airfoil style (some appear to have an eggbeater shape)

It was 60 feet (18 m) tall, weighed 4 tons (3.6 metric tonnes) and powered a 12 kW generator.
