Guided Questions
Who/what body has articulated the pedagogical purpose for your school?
This was developed by the LMT staff and then implemented by ELT members, which includes staff from all sites. :check: https://upwork-abuturab.firebaseapp.com/home
How is that purpose communicated and embedded in learning and teaching? This happens through the Future Ready Curriculum model.
How has the curriculum been constructed? Does it support a learning focused model of instruction? Currently this is under review and will become available for referencing in September 2021 once all staff have placed SOL in a central area.
What beliefs and standards outline and support the pedagogical delivery? That education should be about the wider entity then just subjects. We need to review the question of "Why do schools exist"? We want well rounded learners that are prepared for the future. This is where the FRC comes in.
What support/training exists to develop effective pedagogical practice with technology? Before Covid, we had the Edtech coaches in place but this needed reviewing and a framework. The school also requests that all staff are Google level 1 trained but are yet to offer offical training for this.
Is that training connected/aligned with the articulated purpose and curriculum model? This is something that needs to be looked at in more detail once mapping of the curriculum is done.
