Heaven
what will it be like?
most chistians believe heaven is the place to which believers go when they die; it is a place where God can be known clearly, and where earthly life and and cares are forgotten
however, christians also have differing views about heaven, some think it id an actual physical place

most christians also believe that there will be a new heaven and a new earth, a place where there is no more sorrow, sin or death.
this will be the heaven if eternal life and immortality - where god will be the centre and focus of all who live there, forever
when will it happen

catholics would say only very good believers go straight to heaven, and the rest go to purgatory first, to be cleansed and made ready for heaven
why is it important
many christians would say that only those who have faith in Jesus and his death and resurrection will go to heaven.

heaven will be a paradise - Jesus referred to this, as in Luke 16.

others argue that as God is omnibenevolent all will ultimately be forgotten and enter into a new relationship with God in heaven
judgement
there will be a judgement day, when the quality of peoples lives will be judged by God

there will be bodily resurrection of the dead, and believers will be transformed to a glorified state

a new heaven and new earth will commence, with no tears, sorrow, sin or death
resurrection

at the end of time there will be a physical resurrection, that is brought back to life with physical bodies

the main points of the story is not detailed how God created the world. but ti state that he did. so the story is not a literal account. but dose contain some truths such as:

that there were clear 'periods' of creation, though not 24 hours as such
the story is entirely poetic, and/or mythical. it is not true, and contains literal truth, but is describing what the writer of that time believe to be true.
scientific knowledge and discovery have shown the ideas of creation to be unaceptable
