We need a habitable place on mars. We need one because we need shelter to reflect radiation,Using transparent ice we can cover most of the radiation. They need a place to call home, some were to sleep and some were to take their suits off .
Making a dome
For a dome we would make the roof out of a clear glass that blocks out radiation rays due to the thin atmosphere. Then we would make sure to have a entrance that is 100% airtight so then we can enter and leave.

For this design we would need to create a rocket ship so it could meet the standards of life. We would need to have a lot more fuel because the rocket ship would be a lot heavier. We would also need to include space for us.
