SCIENCE & INDUSTRIAL ADVANCES
Railway & Railroads
Rail transport is a means of transferring passengers and goods in wheeled vehicles that circulate on rails, which are on tracks.
Steamboats
19th century
Larger quantities transportation was by sea or river, in sailing boats.
The "vapors" were an advantage against the sailboats in the 20th century, with large tonnage metal boats and with oil fuel.
A steamboat, also much less frequently called a pyroscope, 1 is a ship powered by steam engines, now in disuse, or steam turbines.
Its appearance was a revolution in world maritime navigation as they did not depend so much on winds and currents, as did sailing.

Perhaps the most important, controversial and far-reaching theory in the whole history of science is that of evolutionthrough natural selection, exhibited by British naturalistCharles Darwin in his book on the origin Of the species in 1859. PASTEUR REVOLUTIONIZED MEDICINE
In medicine, the greatest revolution was brought by Louis Pasteur. He was one of the
most important scientists in history, who discovered microbes and how they cause
certain diseases.
Pasteur also invented one of the most
important methods of preventive medicine, the vaccine: In 1880 produced a rabies vaccine.
The process of pasteurization, to prevent diseases from spreading through milk or other foods, was also his invention.
