Dataset 1 (vgsales)
The dataset has img_url section for each game. It will displays a image of the game for the user to see and helps the user understand the game. Making it user-friendly
The database has the latest games from 2020. which allows users to try new games and also the retro games from 1970
For this database, it has 55792 entries, allows users to choose from a wide range of games
The dataset includes different ratings for example; critic score and user score. The scores which are given can be used to grade each game and would be consistently updated from different users who play the game
Dataset 2 (videogame)
The dataset year releases show that the newest games that it has is from 2010. If the dataset is to be used, an updated version from 2020 should include the latest games
It has a binary data set for true or false. A dropdown box can be added for giving users choices on what console or genre they would like
The dataset shows no empty records, which shows the data can be as accurate as it could be
Features
From the app, the user rates and gives feedback of the games they played which the data will be stored and be used as a reference for other users who want to play the game
From the different types of games that the user searches and plays, similar games will appear for the user to see
