Differentiation: Students are taking a second look at the pre-assessment quiz and writing out the words they don't understand. ELL students work together to find meanings for these words and add them to their word bank. After finishing this first task they work together on a mind map about plagiarism.

Differentiation: Students work on their own pace in the space they feel most comfortable at with the help tools they need and prefer. Students who are able to watch a simple video on "What is plagiarism?" and then are having a discussion with the teacher. Students who work better individually are communicating their understanding of the topic via a presentation tool they prefer.
