What will I do then? I think the short film. In terms of making people smile, invoking emotion, I feel this will be the most effective and enjoyable way to do it. Now, when I say short film I'm not talking about creating a 30 minute short sci - fi drama, that will obviously not meet the criteria. I have been asked to create a TV advertising campaign, so it must be short and simplistic. I will create an effective narrative which provokes relevant emotions whilst keeping it realistic - can I film this? It will be set to music that I feel enhances the experience, that aids in the ultimate aim - invoking emotion, creating happiness, making people smile. The cinematography will resolve around that as well, invoking emotion. How can this shot create emotion? How can this shot invoke happiness? I think I will also use a voiceover, that will be the main (probably only) source of dialogue throughout the film.
