Heterogeneous mixtures
An heterogeneous mixture is non uniform in composition.
this mixture need to contain at least 2 or more components since it is a mixture in which you can identify each part, or each part is visible.
Characteristics
1- Components of the mixture are not distributed uniformly
2- components of the mixture differ from sample to sample
3- more than one phase of matter may be visible
-
separation methods
Heterogeneous mixtures dont need any chemical process for separation since it is easier and can be made by hand, with a spon, or with a strainer since materials are distinguishable and in a way they are already separated. for example when you have a juice and it have the pulp of a fruit using a strainer will separe the two components
-
colloids
Colloids mixture are the one who aren't a suspension but neither a Homogeneous is on the middle of both.
Are fromed in diferent ways such as mixtured of colloids molecules and water that is the example of the jelly, The break of large particles are colloids such as paint pigments and Combine small molecules are Colloid such as a cloud

homogeneous mixtures
an homogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the composition is all uniform throughout the mixture, so we cannot differenciate thee commponents.
features/characteristics
- uniform appearance and composition
-
- homogeneous mixtures are indistinguishable
-
- another example is salt water
