They have to prevent revolts and internal divisions
Jews and Muslims were expelled

Sephardic Jews: did not obey had to sell their assets at a loss and leave their homes
Conversos: were investigated and persecuted by Inquisitions
Persecuted by Christians at the end of Middle Ages
Múdejar
Muslims who lives in Christians territories
They were expelled from Castilla in 1502
And from Aragón in 1526
The majority were farmers so they have a negative impact in agriculture
