Opinion No.1
I think that without border controls things like HUGE surges of immigrants will travel to richer countries which I don't blame them for looking for opportunities but that will then cause issues for the country itself which could cause wars and disputes amongst the whole country. Also it could cause illegal trade in drugs and cause major health issues and problems that already have been solves. Border were made for many reasons and many of these reasons are to solves issues like illegal drug trade, illegal weaponry, and many more.
Opinion No. 2
I see where Danny Dorling is coming from. 1- it would ultimately the costs of immigration control of national border. 2- it would also create temporary immigration opportunities 3- it improves the flow of immigration between countries. 4- it would diversify local economies 5- it would also increase development around the world 6- also a really big advantage is it creates lower levels of crime. All in all it solves issues that we wouldn't have if the borders were open.
To sum up my "opinions" I disagree and agree at the same time. its just there are disadvantages and advantages to having open border.
