Sustainability
Supermarkets
-
-
If the supermarkets run a deal in which the packaging/product can be returned for a reward (money) then they could repurpose it/reuse it for new products
Groups of people
-
Some young people cannot be bothered to recycle products as they cannot be bothered. therefore sustainable produce should be marketed more towards young people, so they can either reuse it or bin it and it can decompose
Single use products
Most single use products cannot get repurposed and would have to get recycled, reused or be disposed of

Reputation
Bio-degradable products can be viewed as gimmicky, not as good as a plastic version of the product and overly expensive. This is because they don't benefit the consumer directly in the short term
Reusable products
Reusable products, such as mask, need lots of maintanence from the primary user. Washing the masks regularly
Another example is a coffee mug, taking this to a coffee shop will give you rewards but you need to carry around a awkward mug/flask
