Foolish Biulder
His house had no foundation.
He did not obey God.
The foolish builder built the house on sand.
Wise Builder
Strong Foundation
He trusted and listened to God.
The wise builder built his house upon bedrock.
The storm struck.
His house stood firm because he had a sturdy foundation.
This was the reward for obeying God.
The storm struck.
The foolish man's house collapsed because there was no foundation.
This was the consequence since he didn't obey God.
The houses took a great deal of energy, strength and risk to build.
The time and effort they had to put in to build these houses was beyond anything that modern builders experidence.
Foundations were dug with great care
The houses were built in the summer because it was wet and snowy in the winter.
Builders say that you must dig deep to find the rock, no matter how deep it may be buried. Just like how we must dig deep to find Gods love no matter how hard it is.
In the summer, the clay ground is incredibly hard and could be built on safely.
