Gets rid of pathogens/foreign cells by a process called phagocytosis

Large cells with a large round nucleus
Produces antibodies to destroy microorganisms
Some stay in our blood after infection to give us immunity to specific diseases

Release chemicals to make blood clot when we cut ourselves
