Senates usually confirm appointments and expectations from the president that requires advice and consents.
Dictator
Dictator was when one consuls make someone to rule. This was not common, but, some times consuls ruled to other temporary in emergency. the person who got ruled were called Dictator
Consuls
Only patrician citizens could be Consuls. Consuls are role that can be done every year. 2 patricians can be Consuls. Their job was to manage the government and the army
Tribunes
There were many complains from plebeians. about being unfair compare to patricians. Since plebeians were thinking it's not fair, new role named tribunes rose up. Tribunes were here to claim the right of plebeians.
citizens
Plebeian
Plebeians usually worked as farmers, traders, and craftsmen. Most of the people in Roman were plebeians, who were the middle classes of Romans.

Business mans, large landholders
Representive
They give feedbacks to the governments and communicate with the citizens. When they get elected by the votes, they become a president.
non-citizens
slaves
Slaves had no right to vote. Slaves were prisoners or debtors that were at war. They mostly worked at an agric.
Foreigners
Not all Foreigners were non-citizens. Some citizens could vote. Foreigners could become roman citizens by doing service for 25 years in Rome. Since it's 25 years, most Foreigners in Roman were non_citizens.
