        once you get the device they will have to move you to the future (or some parallel universe)
        
        but your body didn't (artificially evolve) to handle time or cosmos travel
        
        so they keep your mind focused until they slowly make you travel to them
        
        this is where the cave would slowly evolve into a spaceship
        
        There are puzzles before you get the device and others afterward
        
        before the device, the puzzles wouldn't have the time changing component
