During his reign, France (guided by Napoleone) declared war to Britain, wich had the supremacy at sea.
Britain won over France and Spain during the battle of Trafalgar, led by the Admiral Nelson.
At the end of the war high taxes caused misery, so riots started. The authorities tried to repress it silencing the people the freedom of expression.
