Dehradun, which is located in the Himalayan foothills, is a tranquil hideaway that is accessible all year round. The summer, when the weather is lovely, is the best time to visit Dehradun. It is also worthwhile to go there in the monsoon and in the fall. Winters are not advised because Dehradun does not get snow like its sister towns do, yet continuing to be chilly.
