The fact that Mongolia was victimized by globalization stands out as a bitter irony of history once we begin to extend the perspective backwards in time. The Mongols, in the time of the Mongol Empire, were the one who "pushed globalization.
The Mongol Empire is the largest continuous empire the world has ever seen. It extended from the southern coast of Siberia, Siberia, Manchuria, Korea and China
down to Amman in the east, east all the way into Hungary, Poland and Belarus in the west, and from the northern borders of Indochina, Burma and India, the shores of the Persian Gulf,the southern bor der of Iraq across Syriaand the southern coast of Turkey in the south up to a latitude of approximately 60° N in Russia and Siberia
Because of the rough Central Asian steppe they lived on, it forced them to herd and immigrate. it made life tough, and raids occured frequently. But it incentivize them to made the role "stationary bandit".
During the making of the Mongol Empire, Chiggis Khan made a balanced between many factions of power. For example, he assigned many foreigner as his advisors but still keeping it a balance.
