CHARLES BABBAGE 
Babbage was know for his contribuitions to the first machanical computers
Babbage achived notable result in Cryptography, as early 1845 he solved a cipher that had been posed as a challenge by this nephew
Babagge was born in London in 1791 and very early developed a love of Mathematics
At Cambridge he received an honorary degree in mathematics but he was disappointed by the quality of the math teaching so he joined Analitycal Society
During the Crimean war of the 1850s Babbage broke Vigenere's autokey cipher as well as the much weaker cipher that today is called Vigenere cipher

His discovery was kept a military secret and was not pubblished,the credi for the result was given to Friendrich Kasiski a prussian officer
Alan Turing 
Alan Turing is considered the father of modern computer science
Alan Turing was born in London in 1912s,he studying maths at Cambridge in tre 1930s,Turing went to Priceton where he work at the first digital computer
Turing’s experiments Enigma helped the allies win de World War II ,by decoding enigma a German communications enecrypted,Enigma generanted a costantly changing code wich was impossible for peapole to decipher
The Turing machine,is a machine that would read a series of 1s and 0s from a tape.These described the steps needed to solve a problem or task
Enigma 
In 1950 he devised the Turing Test,the test consisted of an interrogator in a separate room asking questions via keyboard to both a pearson and an intelligent machine.
Colossus 
At school he simply ingored subjects that did not interest him.he was an atheist and also felt marginalised because of him homosexuality
His life ended sadly when he committed suicide in June 1954 but he left the world a permanent Legacy
John Napier 
John Napier was a very famous mathematician of his time.
he was born in 1550 in Edinburgh,Scotland.
A device called Napier’s rods or bones show his creativeness in the field of mathematics:multiplication,division and many other matematical functions Could be done mechanically
He introduced logarithms and the modern notation of decimals
He never invented the natural logarithm function,it is sometimes know as the”Napierian Logarithm
