Student's Comments:
Inequality - economic. This generally relates to income inequality, how some jobs provide very small incomes, while other jobs provide higher incomes. If a country has high income inequality, it means a small proportion of the community are earning a higher proportion of the country's overall income, relative to their group size. This is likely common, when a smaller proportion of the community are highly educated for example, those that are fortunate enough to be highly educated and more likely to have the higher paying jobs.
Inequality- gender, is about the different opportunities and different barriers that exist for people based on their gender. In some countries the barriers are significant, such as in Afghanistan, where they have again reverted to not allowing women to go to university. This severely limits the type of education they can receive and will impact the life opportunities to women living in that country.
