3 Layers of the Brain
Limbic System ~ Attached to emotional, motives, and memories abilities.

Amygdala ~ Crucial in emotional management, fear and aggression
Hypothalamus ~ Maintain balances state of the human body. Blood testing, water level, and determines the body condition.
Cerebrum ~ Ability to rationalize, planning, innovate, and problem solve. Main layer that differentiates humans from animals.

Cerebral Cortex ~ Thin gray-matter covering the cerebrum. Responsibility of perception and consideration.

Frontal Lobe ~ Crucial for high level thinking, memory, planning. Complex thought and behaviors.
Temporal Lobe ~ houses hippocampus, crucial for memory and smell senses.

Cerebral Hemispheres ~ 2 walnut shaped halves of the cerebrum, connected by the corpus callosum. Able to communicate with each other.
Brain Stem & cerebellum ~ Responsible of vital functions (eg. heart rate, breathing, and digestion)
Cooperative Brain ~ All mental and behavior processes involves coordination and cooperation of multiple brain networks.
