Electoral commission
This is the body in the UK charged with enforcing the 2000 Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act.
The Electoral Commission monitors all campaign spending (along with close monitoring by political parties of their openents spending).

Third party spending
Third party spending is when a group or person spends more then £20,000 in England or £10,000 in the other nations on regulated campaign activies during elections or referendums.

In 2019 £319,800 were spent by third party organistions in England.

Minor political parties
In recent years smaller political parties have become more and more important. Some of them simply act to take away votes of existing parties and some have been borne out of devolution.
Examples
Greens
Only have 1 seat in parliament, but have forced other parties (mainly Labour and the Lib dems) to adopt a more enviromental stance or they would loose votes to the Greens.
